On the Big Island of Hawaii, within North Kona Coast's exclusive Hualalai residential community, the Resort is an intimate enclave of beachfront and golf club bungalows. Every amenity is close at hand - from the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course to the rolling surf to stunning restaurants beside the sparkling Pacific.

The intimate scale of 243 guest rooms and suites underlies the uniqueness of the Resort. No corridors proclaim this as a hotel. Landscaped walks lead to private entrances, bathrooms open onto lush gardens and lanais offer spacious access to the open air. Dine elegantly by the ocean, casually beside the pool, or in the comfort of the Clubhouse.

Standard rooms measure a spacious 600 square feet (one- and two-bedroom suites are 1,000 square feet and larger) and are elegantly decorated, with customized art and furnishings. Large, furnished lanais provide all rooms with a view of either the golf course or the ocean. Baths are large and offer a full selection of amenities. All rooms are equipped with a coffeemaker, safe, hair dryer and iron.

A winding, paved walkway that hugs the coast for about half a mile attracts walkers, joggers and bicyclists. A selection of daily activities, ranging from ukulele and hula lessons to guided beach walks, is presented daily. The full-day 'Kids For All Seasons' activities program is available free of charge year-round.

The spring-fed King's Pool, sculpted from oceanfront lava rock and stocked with 3,000 tropical fish, is the most unusual of the four pools. Complimentary snorkeling gear is available for two hours each day.

A Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole golf course is reserved exclusively for guests. In addition to the four large swimming pools, there are several smaller children's pools scattered throughout the hotel's 32 acres.
